LE SEINE - Waterway, Beautiful bridges and Impressionist Art

The most visited and important part of central Paris around Île de la Citémust be Le Seine.
The waterway or transport lifeline has at all 37 bridges in Paris.
This photo is from Pont Ile St Louis connecting Ile de Cité and Ile de Louis. Most of the Ile de Louis island is residential, but there are many (but expensive) good restaurants at street level
A cruise with supper onboard one of the river boats must be on "the bucket list".
During the 19th and the 20th centuries, the Seine has inspired many expressionist artists, but my own photo made with my iPhone in the Blue hour and the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the background, must cover the Art part of this blogpost.
This photo above is taken from the oldest bridge crossing Le Seine Point Neuf (1607)
More im- and ex-pressionist artworks can be found in Museé d´Orsay:

Museé d´Orsay is on the Rive Gauche (The Left Bank) generally refers to the Paris of an earlier era; the Paris of artists, writers and philosophers, including Pablo PicassoArthur RimbaudPaul VerlaineHenri MatisseJean-Paul SartreErnest HemingwayF. Scott Fitzgerald and dozens of other members of the great artistic community at Montparnasse. The phrase implies a sense of bohemianism and creativity.
This photo is taken from Pont du Carrousel as seen on the next photo with Louvre behind.)
Museé Louvre on the Rive Droite that has already been covered in a post. The Right Bank's most famous street is the Champs-Élysées, but there are others of prominence, such as Rue de Rivoli. Here are most of the international brands represented.
